What We Like About This Resource

Collaboration between community-based organizations (CBOs) and immunization managers at state and local health departments has been critical to COVID-19 vaccine distribution. Immunization managers have been essential to allocating resources and ensuring communities are equipped to combat preventable diseases.   • Reviewed the role of immunization managers in COVID-19 vaccine implementation over the last year;
  • Reinforced the value and impact of CBO partnerships with state and local health departments in COVID-19 response;
  • Spotlight successes and lessons learned from partnerships between CBOs and health departments in Wisconsin and Oregon; and
  • Offered ideas for the future state of the relationship between immunization managers and CBOs.
